Design your own board game with BCA's Project: Build

Calling all aspiring board game designers! The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) has started a competition for you to design an inclusive tabletop game!

With the aim of promoting inclusivity for the less-abled, Project: Build invites you and at least one other (up to a maximum of 4) to come up with a table top game that promotes the importance of Universal Design (UD) and inclusivity in architectural design.

Universal Design in the built environment refers to the ability for people with limited mobility to get around the neighborhood easily and enjoy an active lifestyle with their friends and loved ones. This includes handrails along stairwells, warning tactile indicators on the floor and automated doors among others.

The tabletop game can be either a board game, card game, role-playing game or a tile-based game and must not already have been published.

Stand to win up to $3,000 cash as well as a Hasbro hamper worth $1,000. Registration closes Thursday, May 25.

Visit the Project: Build site for more details.
